Hello Wedding Belle,
As you may know by now I love the unique and unusual, people who are brave enough to really express their creativity really excites me. So today I celebrate these wonderfully, bonkers couples and send my total respect their way 🙂
When a couple invite me to meet with them to discuss their wedding plans I feel a surge of anticipation. The first meeting with a new bride and groom is the best, the beginning of a journey and a friendship between us where we will share many ideas and come up with the best plan for their very special day.
What makes a wedding special? Of course it is the couple that make any wedding special as this is their story, their chance to make memories and if I can help them to achieve something that reflects their personalities to the full then I have truly completed my role to perfection. So how crazy can some couples get? Let’s have a look at what has been on the blogs and in the news this week and see what we can find 🙂
When I think about a unique wedding I automatically turn to my favourite quirky blog – Rock n Roll Bride and this week has given us an amazing circus performers wedding in Chile to lose an hour reading over! Here are some of the images (full credits are within the blog on the RnR website) and you can read the full blog HERE >>
Another wonderful resource for creative and unique people can be found over on Stylist.co.uk, so ok it’s not a strictly a wedding publication but it does have some good articles and this is one of them – 35 unusual wedding venues, here are some of our favourites!
Who doesn’t love an ice hotel!? How about this amazing hotel for that special honeymoon or marriage proposal – this is THE IceHotel in Sweden.
Mr & Mrs Unique Wedding Blog is a regular favourite of mine, especially when I’m feeling a little uninspired I pop over and immerse myself in the lovely creative geniuses that grace their pages.
I love a good festival wedding and this week is the anniversary of one of our favourite couples of all time, for whom we helped plan an amazing festival wedding in Hampshire. So it seemed right that we should show you a few images from Mr & Mrs U so that you can see their work and pop over to the blog HERE >> to read more.
This wedding was shot by frecklephotography.co.uk and they have a fabulous style and feel to their images.
How much do you love this creativity and freedom of expression!? I adore it!
