It was a damp September morning as we arrived at Hill Place for Harriet & Dan’s wedding. Long gone was the heat of the long summer we’ve all enjoyed but the weather had no chance of spoiling the infectious happiness, excitement and love that was pouring out of the house the second we walked in the door. I knew, after a year of planning with this gorgeous couple, this was going to be a wonderful day.
Harriet is one of the nicest people you could know and as we quickly found out her family and friends were just as lovely. Everyone was relaxed, excited and thrilled to be part of their day.
The morning zipped by and amidst all the champagne, laughter, hugs and building anticipation a princess was created – Harriet made her way downstairs with a smile that said spoke a thousand words, today a dream was coming true for this beautiful woman.
At the church the boys welcomed every guest with a smile and a gentlemanly welcome, Dan looked every part the dashing officer in his uniform and we couldn’t wait to get the ceremony underway. These two shouldn’t be apart ever, they are each others soul mates.
To be part of this wedding was to be part of the family, with wonderful suppliers such as Smallpiece Catering, Kim Taylor Photography, Miriam King Make up, Harringtons Hairdresser, Quality Marquees, The Flower Smith, Soul Soup live band and of course the stunning Hill Place.
A fantastic wedding which I enjoyed every minute of, these two are meant to be together forever, I’ve never seen such clear equal adoration, it’s so lovely to witness. I am now just sad I don’t have a reason to spend lots of time with them – mind you there’s always cake and honeymoon pics!
